From Wisconsin to Pennsylvania, The Delps are Thankful for Landis at Home

Arlen and Shirley Delp are not strangers to Pennsylvania. They grew up in east PA, forging many friendships that have lasted throughout the years. The opportunity for Arlen to start his own medical practice drew them both to Wisconsin where they lived for many years and had three daughters. Arlen was a doctor and Shirley worked in real estate. Their later years have brought some health challenges.

“We’ve been married 50 plus years, and are still close friends with several residents at Landis Homes who encouraged us to move here. We knew we needed additional help at our age, and so it felt right to move. We began using the services of Landis at Home so Shirley has companionship while I go to men’s breakfast, to the gym or to an exercise class. It’s helpful to both of us and we appreciate the excellent care they give when they are here,” Arlen shared.
