
Michele Sipel, Director of InHome Services
Michele Sipel has been working in home and community-based services since 2012 and at Landis at Home since 2016. She is an Occupational Therapist who has worked with the senior population for all of her career. She enjoys working in home care and being able to help clients be able to age in place in their home at their highest level of independence. Michele is a lifelong Lancaster County resident, and presently lives with her husband and 2 sons in southern Lancaster County. In her free time, she enjoys watching her sons’ sports teams.

Lauren Kaelin, Home Services Supervisor
After working in communications for many years, Lauren felt called to serve in a different way with a career in nursing. Lauren first joined Landis Homes in 2014 as a Household Team Leader then Campus Supervisor. In 2019, she moved to Landis at Home as Home Services Supervisor. “This role is a wonderful opportunity for me to utilize my communications background, nursing skills, and knowledge of Landis Communities to better serve our clients and employees.” She lives in Lititz with her husband and teenage son. Lauren is responsible for overseeing the care of staff, as well as assessing client needs and helping them develop care plans.

Alisa Sholly, Home Services RN
Alisa Sholly is an RN who has worked part-time for Landis Homes since 2003 and for Landis at Home since 2007. Alisa loves interacting with the clients and being a part of a very caring and positive team. Alisa is one of the nurses that performs new client paperwork reviews, care plan reviews/updates, nurse visits, and case management visits for Landis at Home clients. She helps oversee the clients’ care, provides supervision for our Landis at Home team members, and teaches new team members how to perform needed skills to be a caregiver for Landis at Home. Alisa and her husband Jeff have 4 adult children, who they enjoy spending time with them and catching up on life events. Alisa loves being outdoors taking walks, keeping up with her flower and vegetable gardens, and beekeeping.

Meredith Miller, Home Services LPN
Meredith Miller is an LPN working with the Landis at Home team of nurses. She has worked for Landis Homes since 2016 and started out working in PC as a Team Leader. In 2018, Meredith joined the Landis at Home team. She now works in a part-time capacity for Landis at Home, as well as in the Residential Nursing department as needed. She enjoys working with aging adults and helping them to get support in place so they feel better supported in their homes and can age in place. Meredith and her husband John live in Ephrata where they are currently raising their two boys, (ages 10 and 5) along with some naughty Cavalier King Charles puppies, one cat, and a gecko. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boys, partaking in their numerous activities, reading, going for walks, and a good cup of coffee!

Carla Hunt, Home Services Coordinator
Carla Hunt is the full-time Home Services Coordinator. She has served in many capacities since the inception of Landis at Home in 2006 and presently is the Office Manager. Additionally, Carla handles billing, long-term care insurance, payroll, assisting staff with onboarding, compliance training/documents and scheduling meetings and hospitality events. Carla and her husband Dave have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. They enjoy getaways with them that include boating, swimming, and the beach, especially OBX. Carla and her youngest granddaughter have an annual date to do ALL the roller coasters at Hershey Park.

Susan Bovie, Client Care Coordinator
Susan Bovie is the client care coordinator at Landis at Home helping to schedule caregiver visits with clients on and off the Landis Homes campus. She communicates with families about changes in client needs. She also schedules drivers for clients needing car or wheelchair van transportation to doctor appointments or outings.
Prior to working at Landis at Home, she was an office manager of a local surgeon for 33 years until his retirement in 2020. She started at Landis at Home in March of 2020 one week before Covid hit which made her learning experience a bit challenging with all of the new changes taking place at Landis Homes and the entire world!
Susan enjoys working in her yard with a newly raised garden and has many potted plants to tend.

Miss Hart, Home Services Assistant
Melissa “Miss” Hart is a Home Services Assistant which involves assisting in scheduling clients both on and off campus. Miss communicates with clients and their families, as well as other agencies to provide consistent care for those who prefer to receive services while aging in place in their own home. Joining Landis Home in 2018, Miss served in the dining department as a cook, before transferring to Landis at Home in 2022. Having a passion for helping others has given her the motivation to consistently challenge herself both in and outside of work. Growing up in New Jersey, Miss moved to Pennsylvania 10 years ago and since has considered it one of her best life decisions. In her free time, Miss enjoys traveling, cooking, holistic medicine, and spending time with family.
